In 1988, our Algonquin vet clinic location started out in Fox Valley as Lake in the Hills Animal Hospital. In 1996 the hospital relocated to Algonquin IL., becoming the Dundee Animal Hospital family’s third addition. All three animal hospitals are privately owned and operated by six outstanding veterinarians.

We’re proud to offer Dundee Township residents premier veterinary care and pet medical services close to home. Furthermore, our pet hospital is AAHA-accredited to maintain its reputation for excellence. Our veterinarians and vet staff are always working to exceed the highest standards and learn safer, more advanced treatment techniques. The staff at DAH acted quickly to save my cat's life. I will always remember their accurate diagnosis, and swift response, when my little one ate something he shouldn't have. I am deeply grateful for the expertise of Drs. Moderhack, Maras, and surgeon Gurevich. The surgeon called both before and after the procedure, which we greatly appreciated. Also deserving of special thanks is the team who monitored my cat's health 24/7. He received the very best of care! Thanks to these kind and competent professionals, our boy is still zooming around today.

They saw my small dog same day. Our regular vet was booked and they were the closest talking emergency referrals. Very efficient, helpful and caring. The wonderful news is that she’s fine and I won’t hesitate to bring her in should we need their help in the future. All staff, technicians and doctor were great!
