Veterinary House Calls
Is your pet in need of medical care, but you are unable to bring them to us? Let us know! Dr. Gurevich can conduct veterinary house calls for any pets that are unable to travel to our facility in Dundee, along with cats that are difficult to handle outside of the home. For house calls, we need at least 24 hours' notice; same-day appointments are not available. We are happy to provide this service, because every pet should be able to receive essential care for their loved one.
Offering in-home care to our patients is important because we recognize that each pet has different needs. Some pets become very anxious and hard to handle when they visit their veterinarian, which can interfere with their treatments. Being treated at home in a comfortable, quiet environment can make all the difference. We also respect the fact that travelling may not be possible for your pet due to an ongoing health condition or injury.
Preparing for a House Call
Once we have helped you set a date for your house call, be sure to plan accordingly. Avoid overlapping schedules and prepare a clean, well-lit space in your house on the day of our visit. We will call you when we are on our way to your home.
