Saying goodbye to your pet is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do. Many clients request in-home euthanasia because it allows their pets to spend their final moments in a peaceful, familiar environment. Your pet always deserves to feel comfortable and relaxed, especially during this time. If you have concerns about your pet’s condition and suspect that euthanasia might be the next step, simply reach out to us and we’ll do everything we can to help.

Preparing For a House Call

Once we have helped you set a date for your mobile vet appointment, be sure to plan accordingly. Avoid overlapping schedules and prepare a clean, well-lit space in your house on the day of our visit. We will call you when we are on our way to your home.

We ended up at Dundee animal hospital in East Dundee when our beloved 9 year old shepherd had a tumor rupture along with his spleen. It was an emergency situation and Dr. Knott and staff were absolutely amazing right from the start. She spent the time explaining in great detail and length exactly what was happening and what our sweet boy was about to endure. Her honesty and more importantly her empathy touched my entire family. It takes an extraordinary human to do what she does everyday and I’m so thankful that she was put in our path to cross that day. She has been available to consult with us this entire process and continues to show us grace as we navigate our pooch’s cancer diagnosis. I highly recommend this lovely place to anyone in need. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you for saving Maverick. It’s thanks to you all that we get to love on him as much as possible for however much time he has left with us. Forever grateful.
