I cannot recommend Dundee Animal Hospital of Algonquin enough. Dr. O'Brien Jungels cared for my cockatiel (who has been suffering from a chronic sinus infection for some time) and I have seen a drastic improvement in my bird's health.The Doctor was knowledgeable, patient, and came up with a comprehensive and realistic treatment plan (both long and immediate term) and examined my bird in the room with me (my previous veterinarian rarely would examine my birds while I was present due to lack of examination rooms)Appointment time was very prompt and I was taken care of right away--at my old vet, I would be at the appointment for a minimum of 3 hours due to their caseload (with no check ins or updates on queue/triage status)All in all, this was night and day from my past experiences, and I am so grateful to have found a new vet for my birds! Thank you so much!

We were recently here when our twelve and a half year old lab had sudden, catastrophic internal bleeding. The staff here were nothing short of fantastic. They took such good care of our girl and kept her comfortable, jumping into action immediately when we came in. Dr. O’Brien explained the situation and our options very honestly and thoroughly to my husband and later to me over the phone. Unfortunately our dog had to be put down later that day. By the time we got there, Dr. Leonid was there. He was kind, empathetic, and gentle, as were the techs, throughout the entire heart-wrenching process. While we are heartbroken to have lost our girl, we are forever grateful for the care and love they provided for both her and our family. I highly recommend them.

We really like going to Dundee for several reasons. The vet techs are gentle and personable with both the animals and their people. When pets are scared they slow down and take their time. The staff at the front desk is friendly and courteous. The doctors are very good at explaining treatment plans and test results. We never feel pressured to do more than we feel comfortable with and they know our pets and remember them from visit to visit. The office is clean. Making an appointment is easy and so is getting refills of medications and prescription food. We love this office and feel fortunate to live nearby. Thank you!

I love how easy it is to make appointments online. Dr Lupo is great with our girl Skyla, she's been there since she was a puppy. The techs are always very friendly.
