Fortunately, there are plenty of reputable sources out there that can answer some of your questions when we’re not immediately available. Toxic foods, substances, and plants are all around you. How do you know what’s safe and what isn’t? In addition to their hotline that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the APCC also offers a guide of poisonous plants, toxic foods, dangerous household products and much more. Indoor Pet Initiative

Offers tips regarding your pet's basic needs, how to address problematic behaviors, training methods and ways you can enrich your pet's environment. Be the best caregiver you can be for your four-legged family member.

Pet Microchip Lookup

This internet-based tool can help you identify the registries or manufacturer of a microchip. The application searches through various company databases, identifying which registries you should contact after a lost pet's chip has been scanned.

United States Department of Agriculture

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) offers guidelines for preparing your pet for travel both inside and outside of the country. This includes information about health certificates, proper traveling and transport practices, and any additional steps you need to take to ensure a safe trip for yourself and your pet.

Trupanion is our preferred pet medical insurance provider. At your next wellness appointment, we are happy to offer you a Trupanion certificate, offering you 30 days of coverage at no cost to you. (There is a $250 deductible for each eligible condition that occurs during the 30 day certificate period.) This gives you an opportunity to be covered if something should happen, while also doing your own research to ensure what is right for you.
