The General Practice Veterinary Associate position will complement our staff of 16 general practice and emergency doctors and a support staff of over 50 team members. We encourage our doctors to pursue their individual medical interests while we offer stability and opportunity for personal growth and development.
The position of Veterinary Technician acts as the primary support to both doctors of the practice and its patients. This position often manages multiple clinical tasks while tactfully interacting with clients, often under stressful or emotional circumstances. The vet tech often works independently, but under the direct supervision of several doctors and the Technician Team Leader. The individual in this role must be detail-oriented, dedicated to the care of animals and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience in veterinary medicine is required. Our technicians act as the primary support to both doctors of the practice and its’ patients. This position often manages multiple clinical tasks while tactfully interacting with clients, often under stressful or emotional circumstances. Technician applicants need to be able to work independently when necessary, under the direct supervision of several doctors, while also maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude within a team setting. The individual in this role must be detail-oriented, dedicated to the care of animals and possess excellent technical, communication and organizational skills. Our emergency technicians must also be skilled in customer service and must be able to work second, third shifts, weekends and holidays.
The Veterinarian Assistant must enjoy working with all types of companion animals and will perform duties as directed by the doctors, technicians and administration. Must always project a professional and friendly image as they will be interacting with clients and internal staff. The veterinary assistant job duties require standing during all on-duty work hours, the ability to lift and move heavy objects and appropriately deal with potentially aggressive or difficult animals, following proper restraint techniques.
The Client Service Representative (CSR) presents both the first and last impression of the hospital to clients and patients. As such, the CSR’s customer service skills and the responsibilities he/she performs are vital to the smooth and successful operation of the practice. The individual in this role manages multiple tasks and must remain composed and project a professional image at all times. The veterinary CSR works in a team environment and must possess excellent communication skills to facilitate successful interaction with our clients, doctors, technicians and other team members.
